Last Refuge for Mr Nihilist

It's strange how I tend to be attracted to things that are either dead, dying, or somewhere in a state of suspension. When I took this last piece, I'd only been informed by one of the residents of Pulau Ubin that the government had plans to clear out the farms, take back the leased houses, and turn the island into a resort.

This one photo is my tribute to the place, before the redevelopment people start tearing down the stilt houses and wooden piers, and start building 5 star hotels in their place.

Even this last refuge wouldn't be a refuge much longer.
