Flare, Homogeneity, Passivity

I'd clean forgotten about this until I started taking out the trash from my computer today. I snapped this en route to Pulau Ubin to do a photo essay and the whole self discovery thing. It was taken sometime in February this year, years after my first visit to Pulau Ubin to get away from it all and put things in perspective, except this time, I had a companion with me and was shooting digital instead of using my old Nikon F55.

The sea was just as tranquil, just as quiet as it was back then, frothing sea foam churned up by the wake of the tugboat that ferried me from the mainland to the island's distant shores. The clouds too, rows and rows of endless white, paid complement to roiling blue.

But of course, I chose to shoot in black and white.
